Welcome Fellow Haters

Silky is Back

Let’s face it people, in this day & age, we are bombarded from every direction with things that flat-out suck on a daily basis. So I, Silky J, have taken it upon myself to become somewhat of a tour guide, leading the general populous through life’s little (& big) nuisances. Due to the nature of my upcoming posts, most will probably just picture me as an angry little man ranting from behind his keyboard; but I prefer to think of myself as a keen observer of human behavior and societal trends. As a matter of fact, when I am not spewing obscenities on the golf course or behind the wheel of my car, I have always been a pretty laid back individual. The issues and topics I will be dealing with actually amuse me more than anything else, because we currently live in a world where common sense is all too uncommon. I would even go so far as to say that in most cases, the human race seems to be devolving right before our very eyes and no one has noticed–until now.

As this blog moves forward, there are only two sure things I will promise to anyone who might read or follow this site (unfortunately, neither is that every post will be good):

1) Silky J and Co. will not pull any punches when a post is written, and no topic will be safe from the scrutiny of This Is Why It Sucks. I am an equal opportunity hater, and nothing is untouchable or too controversial in our neck of the woods, and

2) Relative to the above, there will be numerous posts that people don’t agree with and some may even invoke a bit of anger. That being said, I gladly welcome any feedback from our readers–whether good, bad, or just plain pissed off. But at the same time, that feedback will not keep me from further discussing any given topic. In my opinion, the only issues considered taboo are those that people prefer to ignore and sweep under the rug–but Silky and Co. don’t sweep, so anything goes.

So welcome to the wide world of This is Why it Sucks; put on your seatbelt, grab your vice of choice, and enjoy the ride…
