The Money Pit

There are only a few clichés that actually hold true on a day-to-day basis, and I think one of them is a phrase coined in 1957 by Francis Bacon (mmmm…bacon), “Knowledge is power.”  However there is one caveat to remember when living by that rule; it is another common expression, but illustrates the flip side of this ideal:  “Ignorance is bliss.”  It is hard to deny the benefits of knowledge, but that doesn’t mean every subject will have a positive impact on your life.  I could have gone my whole life without knowing somewhere in the US, two girls enjoy an activity involving one cup. 

The two videos below fall into the same category, but invoke a totally different reaction after viewing.  Here is a breakdown of the American monetary system, and I promise it will not lead to projectile vomiting or the urge to gauge your eyes out with a plastic spork.  Even though our current economic situation does make me a bit nauseous…
