Silky’s Saturday Smoke Out: Comedy Throwback, Edition I
For my money, there is nothing better than sitting back on the couch and enjoying a classic comedy DVD. There are a number of movies that I could watch repeatedly for the rest of my life, and a majority of them involve humor in some form. I can get sick of watching Hans Gruber fall off the Nakatomi Plaza while watching Die Hard for the 1,000th time; but a great joke or funny character never gets old, and the following movies help support this theory:
Animal House Compilation (Arguably the greatest comedy of all-time):
A film that is definitely in my top 3 is Caddyshack, and Carl Spackler may be the most quotable movie character of all time:
Chevy Chase starred in a few of my favorites, and this scene from Spies Like Us is one of his best:
