How Bout Five Cross Yo Lip?

Today’s inductee into the Hater Hall of Fame was the proprietor of a junkyard/antique dealership in Watts, and a big fan of Ripple – as well as ”Beaujolipple”, “Cripple”, and “Champipple”:

Fred G. Sanford,  Born January 21, 1907

Frederick Sanford was born in St. Louis, Missouri and spent much of his young life there.  He married a girl named Elizabeth Winfield at a young age, and in 1946 they moved to a poor neighborhood in Los Angeles, California with their son Lamont.  His wife unexpectedly passed away a year later, and Fred soon started a junk/antique business out of his home.  Lamont eventually dropped out of high school to help out his father, and “Sanford & Son” was born.  Full fictional bio/background of Fred G. found here.

Here are some of his finer moments, including a peek into the ongoing rivalry with his late wife’s older sister, Esther Anderson (may be a few overlapping clips, sorry).
